Nothing can explain the deep sense of loss felt when a family has to bury their own child. In today’s society the child death rate is on the rise as compared to generations of the past. The All For One-One For All (AFOOFA) Foundation was founded in 2005 by NBA and Denver Nuggets All Star, Calvin Natt. The goal of the foundation and of Calvin Natt is to help parents who cannot afford the cost of a funeral for their child.

Average funeral costs currently start around $5000. All For One-One For All was founded to assist parents with the financial funeral expenses incurred due to the loss of a child. AFOOFA’s ability to assist with funeral costs helps a family begin the healing process after suffering the devastating loss of a child. This assistance can bring peace and closure to family members. Without the generosity of the All For One-One For All Foundation, the funeral alternative is through the social services network. Social Services do not have the resources for a respectful ceremony. They are only able to offer a head stone. AFOOFA goes well beyond by offering everything expected with a funeral service, as well as, counseling and support for the living. Research sadly, shows an increase in the number of divorces after the tragic loss of a child due to overwhelming grief. All For One-One For All Foundation provides families with a complete funeral service that provides family members closure and support after their loss and the sensitivity to endure the hard times to follow.

Individual and corporate donations are at the heart of making the All For One-One For All services possible. The services provided by the foundation go beyond a funeral service. All For One-One For All provides the necessary elements for the proper burial services according to each family’s needs and religious beliefs. Please take a moment to make a donation and help a family give their child a proper funeral.
